BALFIN Group, over EUR 135 Million in Taxes in the First Six Months of 2026
BALFIN Group contributed over EUR 135 million in taxes during the first six months of 2026, marking a 9.5% increase compared with the same period last year.
The figure was disclosed by the Group in a social media post and reflects the growing fiscal contribution of BALFIN companies to the economies where they operate.
The over EUR 135 million contribution represents a direct inflow into the public budgets of the countries in which the Group has a presence. Beyond its commercial activity and investments, BALFIN’s companies contribute to public revenues and, consequently, to the financing of public services in local economies.
The 9.5% year-on-year increase in taxes paid reflects the expansion of the Group’s business activities, the development of existing operations and its presence in new markets. Fiscal contributions therefore provide a tangible measure of the economic activity generated by the Group across the markets in which it operates.
BALFIN Group highlights that business growth goes hand in hand with its contribution to local economies and communities. The Group continues to expand its international footprint, while investments across different sectors are focused on creating long-term economic value.
With operations across multiple countries and sectors including retail, real estate, financial services, asset management and tourism, BALFIN Group employs more than 5,000 people directly and supports more than 15,000 additional jobs through activities closely linked to its companies.
Through taxes, employment, investment and the development of local businesses, BALFIN’s operations generate a broader economic contribution in the markets where the Group is present.
