Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha published this Monday a video that, according to him, shows the failed attempt on the former mayor of Shengjin Municipality, Salvador Kaçaj.

In the video, a white car can be seen blocking the way of the car in which Kaçaj was traveling with his son, which blocks the way and two people come out to shoot him with guns, but the driver of the car walks back and gets away from the assassins.

"On May 14, I denounced the failed assassination attempt organized by criminal gangs against the former mayor of Shengjin, one of the country's most prominent football players, the democrat Salvador Kaçaj.

He was traveling with his son and armed thugs approach him to execute him, but a quick maneuver by the driver made their criminal act impossible.

That day, Edi Rama immediately reacted with cynicism, with a mockery of this act as if this act was an invention of Kacaj and had never happened.

It took time to secure the video of this criminal act, which I will present today. The video shows how the criminals blocked the road and came out armed to commit the crime", said Berisha.
