DP Criticizes Parliament Speaker after Session

The MP of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, spoke to the media outside the Parliament building after the latter with the majority votes voted for the 3 decrees for the changes in the government cabinet.

Tabaku criticized the leader of the Parliament, Lindita Nikolla, for rejecting the request for the motion with debate regarding these changes by Prime Minister Rama, stressing that they are afraid of the accusations against the incinerators.

"Today, the parliament denied the DP's request, the government's priorities were also changed. It is unacceptable that the opposition has no parliamentary space. I believe that the change of the deputy prime minister is unacceptable. Was this decision related to the issue of incinerators?

The speaker of the parliament should have shown that she was above the parties and failed to do so. I understand political warfare and political uses. We are for the principle of opening files through a law that we will bring once and for all in the coming days, which will separate Albania from the transition period. The Socialist Party has no morals to use the File Authority for internal political warfare.

We did not have the opportunity to discuss this, nor the resolution towards Kosovo, nor the integration. As they know how to do, they use the Parliament as a notary", said Tabaku.
