Durrës police have clarified the circumstances of an accident resulting in the death of a 66-year-old man.

The accident happened in Juba of Durrës, where it was initially suspected that 66-year-old Q. Tabaku went off the road with his motorcycle and lost his life.

However, the investigations revealed that the victim was hit by another vehicle on Friday morning, and as a result ended up off the road, unfortunately with fatal consequences.The driver who hit him with the initials A. Z. immediately left the scene of the accident, but the police managed to arrest him.

"Durres Traffic Police Services, as a result of quick operational actions, have made it possible to locate and arrest the citizen A. Z., 64 years old, resident of Manzë, Durrës, for the criminal offenses "Violation of traffic rules" and "Leaving the place of the accident", announced the Durrës police.
