EUR 84M Saved from Property Revaluation Process

Since the launch of the real estate revaluation process in February, it is estimated that around Euro 84 million has been saved by individuals and businesses from the implementation of the reduced tax at 5%.

The data has been made public by the tax administration. Citizens who are looking to sell a real estate property, but also those whose properties have been registered at a lower value than the market value, can benefit from the revaluation process.

In both cases, the calculated tax (from the difference between the previous registered value of the property and the new sale or market value) will be 5% from the 15% that applies in ordinary periods.

According to the tax administration, the deadline for carrying out the revaluation ends on December 31, 2026. “The time to benefit continues. Get informed and use this legal opportunity to reflect the real value of your property and benefit from the facilities provided for in the law”.

From February 2, 2026, to April 27, 2026, according to data from the State Cadastre Agency, made available by the National Albanian Real Estate Association (NAREA), a total of 9,532 citizens have applied.
