Ex-Durres Gang Leader Escorted by Tirana Police

On Saturday afternoon, former number 2 of the Durrës Gang, Endrit Dokle, was escorted to the premises of the Tirana Police Directorate.

Dokle was a Benz type armored vehicle, along with two other people, namely citizens Gentian Reçi and Fation Murati.
The latter turned out to be wanted, because he is suspected of being the co-owner of an arms base that was seized a few months ago in Tirana.

It is about the weapons that were found in the rented premises taken by 25-year-old Kristian Gjini. The police managed to identify Fation Murati's fingerprints in one of these material evidences that were seized at the armaments base, which is why they declared him wanted.

In the official announcement, the Police informs that Dokle, Reçi and Murataj were arrested after a Blic operation, but in fact the possibility is not excluded that they were in the surveillance of the blues and that last night was a well-organized operation.

The three companions were questioned about several issues, including the triple murder in Fushë-Kruje. Dokle and Reçi were released after a few hours in the premises of the directorate, while Murataj was detained.

Gentian Reci is the nephew of Xelal Reçi, the former policeman killed in Laç on November 1, 2021. This execution is suspected to have been carried out by the late Brilant Martinaj. Reçi and Dokle have family ties to each other.

Also due to the testimony of Nuredin Dumani, where it is shown that Ervis Martinaj had offered 500 thousand euros for the murder of Endrit Dokle, there are strong suspicions that between two well-known characters of the world of crime, there is a fierce conflict recently.

The killing of Xhelal Reci is suspected to be just one of several executions that this clash has produced. The former member of the Durrës gang, Indrit Dokle, was initially sentenced to life imprisonment by the court for serious crimes and then converted to 25 years in prison. With a court decision by judge Enkelejda Hoxha, he won his freedom in 2020.
