Former head of Albania’s State Intelligence Service (SHISH), Vlora Hyseni, surrendered to Kosovo police on Tuesday, hours after the country’s Special Anti?Corruption Prosecution (SPAK) announced house arrest measures against her.

Local media reported that Hyseni notified authorities upon arriving at Pristina airport before being escorted across the border into Albania. She crossed into Albanian territory under tight security and is currently being transported to Tirana.

SPAK said Hyseni faces charges of aiding a crime suspect, Ergys Agasi, and unlawfully disclosing classified information. The court imposed two precautionary measures: house arrest and suspension from public duties.

No official statement has yet been issued by Albanian authorities regarding her surrender or the procedures to follow once she reaches the capital.
