Former RENEA Member Caught with Sniper Rifle Left in Prison
Hearing for the appointment of the security measure on the former RENEA officer, Remal Rada has been held Thursday, during which the court decided the security measure of arrest and imprisonment for him and his companion, Elton Hithi.
Rada and Hithi were handcuffed after a number of weapons and other equipment were found in the vehicle they were traveling in, which left room for suspicions that they would commit an assassination.
At the time of the arrest, a sniper rifle was also found in the car, which is said to belong to the former member of the RENEA forces.
However, Rada has served for a long time in the ranks of the State Police and quit his job about 3 months ago.
Following the search, a firearm, a pistol, two pairs of binoculars and military ammunition were found in the residences of these citizens, which were seized, as material evidence, together with the vehicle.
