Four Arrested for Ecstasy Distribution

Four people working as journalists have been arrested in Tirana following the investigation by the capital's prosecution after in their business were found equipment to cultivate cannabis.

The arrested are Ergis Noka, Drin Vjerdha, Kristofor Pandelejmoni and Mario Çerra. They worked at the 'Ish-bllok' area, where they had a place for their business, and at the same time cultivated drugs. They secure ecstasy through Kosovo and Serbia.

The suspects, aged between 18 and 24 years, while arrested were found with 300 tablets of suspected ecstasy (MDMA).

The investigations conducted through proactive methods included searching a store owned by one of the suspects on Pjetër Bogdani Street. During the search, several electronic devices were found and seized as evidence, believed to be used for cultivating cannabis.
