Granit Xhaka Slams Retirement Home's Workers Who Beat Up Elderly
Albanian footballer, Granit Xhaka, has reacted to the serious incident that took place in a center for the elderly in Peja, where two female employees beat up an elderly woman who was the mother of a KLA martyr.
Xhaka says that this is a shameful event and according to him, the most shameful thing is that the other 5 employees watch the scene and laugh.
He adds that these monsters do not represent our society and asks for an end to these cases that, according to him, do not make us proud of where we come from. In conclusion, he states that he is ready for any help and support if needed.
"Do these people themselves have parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters? These are not the Albanians I know and represent. I am always proud of my country and my origin, but today I felt bad like never before. These monsters do not represent our country," the 30-year-old footballer wrote.
