Albanian police has cooperated with Interpol Tirana, Fast Kosova, Gjirokastra, Lezha and Shkodra DVPs to handcuff Dod Gjikolaj, a person with high social risk in the field of crimes against the person.

The 41-year-old arrestee is suspected of being a contract killer for several crimes in Kosovo, which he has committed with firearms and explosives. Gjikolaj, resident in Velipoja of Shkodra was located and put in fetters in Gjirokastra in the framework of “Castle” police operation.

The detention of this citizen came after Gjakova Court, the Serious Crimes Department issued an international arrest warrant for the criminal offenses "Murder" and "Unlawful possession of military and explosive weapons and ammunition".
