Kapshtica Border Opens, Only Pedestrians/ Goods Trucks Allowed
Trucks and pedestrians will be allowed to enter Albania from Greece through Kapshtice border crossing point (BCP) from Monday, announced the Local Directorate of Border and Migration in Korça.
Buses, taxis and other vehicles will not be allowed to pass and entrance to Greece will continue to not be an option, as revealed.
"We are informed by the Greek Police Authorities, that in continuation of the measures taken to cope with the situation created due to the COVID-19 pandemic, from today onwards, from 06:00 to 22:00, only pedestrians and heavy tonnage vehicles, freight trucks will to be allowed to leave Greece and enter Albania through this Crossing Point.
While buses, taxis, or any other means of passenger transport will not be allowed to pass.
We remind the citizens that entrance to the Greek state is still closed. Thanking you for your understanding", declares the Kapshtica Border Police station.
