Kushner Responds to Zvërnec Claims, Says Albania Project Could Reach €4 Billion
Jared Kushner has responded to reports surrounding his planned investment in Zvërnec, rejecting claims that the Albanian government gave the land to investors and outlining his vision for the area.
In a statement addressing recent media reports, Kushner said the property was acquired through a private transaction under Albanian law, for €230 million. He described the purchase as one of the highest-value transactions of its kind in the region.
Kushner also emphasized environmental protection, saying the project is intended to follow high standards for biodiversity and sustainable development, while preserving the natural character of the area.
Expressing strong confidence in Albania’s tourism and economic potential, Kushner described the project as a long-term investment. According to his statement, the development could ultimately reach approximately €4 billion if fully realized, with the potential to generate jobs, economic activity and new opportunities.
The comments come amid public debate over the scale and environmental impact of the proposed development in Zvërnec, one of Albania’s most prominent coastal areas.
