Lindita Nikolli is the new Parliament Speaker of Albania. Her elections was made this Friday evening with 79 votes pro and only 4 against which were the votes of the members of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI).

Her first speech in front of Parliament as a Speaker was followed by a noise of the opposition MPs who forcibly hit their tables making impossible her to be listen. After few minutes all members of the Democratic Party abandoned the Parliamentary Session refusing to listen the first promises of the new speaker. This is the first return of the opposition in Parliament after more than two years of boycott that ended up with a boycott.
