Interior Minister Taulant Balla has reacted after the recent actions of the police against the cultivation of cannabis.

Balla said that the fight against the cultivation of cannabis must be intensified. Focusing on the data of the day, reported by the police, Balla underlines that when the results are not lacking, if police decides to act against illegality.

"The fight against cannabis cultivation must continue even harder, as time and time again, cannabis rears its head as soon as the police turn its head the other way. And when the Police strike, the results are not lacking. Therefore, the strike must be systematic, every day. Congratulations to the Tirana Police Directorate for the operation in the highlands of Kruja, where more than 1,200 cannabis plants were discovered and destroyed today, along with their owner coming before justice," emphasized Balla.
