A joint border crossing point between Albania and Montenegro was opened this Tuesday in Grabom of Malesi e Madhe. The action aims to ease movement between the two countries.

Part of the inauguration was the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, who said that this is the second border crossing point that connects Albania with Montenegro.

According to Rama, very soon people can move freely while very soon will begin construction of the bridge that will connect Velipoja and Montenegro.

He also invited Montenegro to be involved in the 'Open Balkan' initiative.
