State Police Law to Undergo New Changes

Minister of Interior, Taulant Balla announced Tuesday changes to the law on 'State Police'. In a communication for the media, Balla said that this law will be changed soon, as the new one will be discussed with different actors.

According to him, the main objective of the changes is to make possible to turn the State Police the most trusted institution for the public.

"The new Law of the State Police will be referred to the best experiences and it must guarantee a State Police that will respond to the demands of the public. We aim to transform the Police into the most trusted institution. 

It will be a big law, with a high number of articles and amendments and the final draft will be submitted to public consultations. Police will exercise their duty with high integrity and will guarantee success," said Minister.
