Krenar Alimehmeti has been elected head of the Football Association in Tirana. It is learned that Alimehmeti received 44 votes in favour, 2 against and 1 abstention. 

The Electoral Assembly for the Tirana Regional Football Association has been closed amid controversy. From the beginning, the other candidate, Eduard Prodani has contested the presence of 67 delegates with the right to vote, against 41 that were originally planned. He and some of his supporters left the hall. 

However, voting continued and Krenar Alimehmeti was elected the new president of the Tirana Regional Association. However, this process is expected to be brought in the Court of Tirana, appealed by the other party in the competition.
