Ilir Binaj was elected by the Government as the new General Director of Taxes in Albania.

His name was voted in the last meeting of the government as he is a certified accounting expert.

Binaj was educated in the United States of America, where he received a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Dallas Baptist University.

The new Tax Director of Albania is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Ilir Binaj is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) in the United Kingdom and an Authorized Accounting Expert (EKR) in Albania. From today, he will also be in charge of the General Directorate of Taxes.
