Drug Trafficker, Arber Cekaj Tries to Escape Prison
Arbër Çekaj and Fatmir Pjetri, who are in the detention facilities in prison 313 in Tirana, have tried to escape from their cells this Sunday.
Sources of Albaniandailynews.com suggest that the detainees were in the airing premises when they tried to leave the cells. According to the information, it is learned that they tried to pass through a sheet from airing premises to the administration premises of this prison.
But the plan failed, as they were caught in time by the Prison Police and sent back to their cells. The persons who tried to escape from the 313 detention facility this Sunday, are two characters known for the black chronicle in recent years.
Arbër Cekaj, convicted only a few weeks ago by the Court of First Instance Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) with 14 years in prison for ordering 650 kg of cocaine from Latin America and brought them to Albania through his banana company; and Fatjon Pjetri, known as one of the members of the famous "Father Christmas" gang.
