The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has announced that the opposition sued to SPAK (Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime) the Speaker of the Parliament, Lindita Nikolla. 

"Today we will submit the criminal report to SPAK for Ms. Nikola for abuse of office", said the head of the DP parliamentary group. 

In his speech to the journalists, Bardhi announced that this was the decision of the parliamentary group after the refusal to set up Investigative Committees as well as the refusal to change the representative of the opposition in the Electoral Reform Committee. 

According to him, it is "unacceptable that a legitimate request of the opposition MPs is opposed by using the authority as the Speaker of the Assembly and by giving illegal orders to the employees of the Republic Guard." 

"No desperate action by Edi Rama and his puppet at the head of the Parliament stops the opposition from demanding its minimum rights. 

It is a constitutional right of the opposition to request the establishment of investigative committees, it is a constitutional right to ask to be represented by whoever it wants in the election reform committees," said the head of the DP parliamentary group.
