Over 117K Passengers Processed at Durres Port in 15 Days
The Port of Durres is experiencing one of the periods with the highest traffic flow for this summer season.
From the early hours of the morning until the evening, the passenger terminal is filled with citizens entering and leaving the country, making this main maritime hub one of the most frequented points of international traffic.
According to official data, in the first two weeks of August alone, a total of 117,006 passengers and 31,602 vehicles have moved through the Port of Durres, figures that confirm the intensity of traffic and the key role of this port in the seasonal movement of citizens, especially those returning from emigration for holidays in their homeland.
To cope with this high volume, the Albanian Customs Administration has engaged full capacity and remains on standby, working extended shifts to manage the flow in an organized, efficient, and secure manner.
