The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has decreed the release from office and the appointment of new Albanian ambassadors in several countries. 

Among the dismissed ambassadors is that of Serbia, Ilir Boçka. Bardhyl Canaj, the former ambassador of Israel, has been appointed in his place. 

1. Mr. Ilir Boçka is released from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Serbia, resident. 

2. Mr. Sami Shiba is released from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resident, as well as from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen, non-resident. 

3. Mr. Arben Gazioni is released from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Russian Federation, resident, as well as from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan, non-resident. 

4. Appointed Mr. Genc Pecani Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Russian Federation, resident, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan, non-resident. 

5. Appointed Mr. Bardhyl Canaj, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Serbia, resident. 

6. Appointed Mr. Artur Kuko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, resident, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), non-resident. 

7. Appointed Mr. Saimir Bala, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resident, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen, non-resident. 

8. Appointed Mr. Arten Hanku, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Slovakia, resident.
