President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has received in a meeting this Wednesday the new Ambassador to Bangladesh, Ashud Ahmed, on the occasion of the presentation of Letters of Credence. 

President Meta says that they have confirmed in the meeting the good political relations between the two countries and exchanged views on the need to promote economic and trade cooperation and the importance of increasing mutual investment.

"On the occasion of the presentation of Letters of Credence, I welcomed the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Albania, Ashud Ahmed, to whom I wished success and assured him of full support during his important mission. 

We confirmed the good political relations between our two countries and praised the positive trend of cooperation within international organizations. We exchanged views on the need to promote economic and trade cooperation and the importance of increasing mutual investment," stated Meta.
