Rrushi Brothers Sentenced to Prison for Businessman’s Murder
Court of Tirana has accepted the security measure of arrest and imprisonment requested by the Prosecution for the two brothers Fredi and Pajtim Rrushi, who did not speak at all at the hearing and did not give any explanation.
They are accused of killing businessman Ruzhdi Hoxha, which happened between the night of October 21 and 22, whose body was found in the Dajti Mountain’s area last weekend, about two weeks after his disappearance.
Against Fredi Rrushi, who according to the prosecution is the last person to meet the victim after the disappearance and that he is suspected as the main perpetrator of the event, the prosecution has filed charges for "Premeditated Murder", "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Concealment of the corpse".
His brother has been charged with "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth" and "Concealment or destruction of the corpse". The prosecution suspects that Reconciliation is an accomplice in the event.
Referring to the investigations so far, it turns out that he has not yet shown where the vehicle Passat, with which Hoxha traveled, disappeared from the area of ??the trio to Qafë Mollë, where he was executed.
The "Passat" type vehicle used by Fredi Rrushi in the murder of the 43-year-old has not been found yet, while the investigators have not yet found the weapon of the psitolet type crime with which the inert businessman was executed.
Meanwhile, the Tirana prosecutor's office has no motive for the serious crime, alibis are numerous, ranging from the disruption of drug deals, old debts, unfinished orders, but it is not excluded that the murder may have been committed for weak motives.
