Seven Foreign Women Arrested in Tirana Prostitution Ring Crack-down

Tirana Police cracked down Friday on a prostitution network in the Albanian capital and arrested the Colombian organizer along with 6 foreign citizens, who committed prostitution in rented apartments. 

Police sources informed that within the "Contact" operation, Beisi Yusmar Rojas Ruiz, 30 years old, Colombian citizen, was arrested for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution". 

However, the arrested women are: Lismar Maryelis John Perez, 28 years old, Leidi Yaritza Anillo Bolano, 23 years old, Yuri Lorena Vargas Sanchez, 28 years old, Daniela Carolina Mendoza Barboza, 31 years old, Margarita Grushevskaia, 21 years old and Laura Vanesa Mercado Baselga, 22. years, from Spain, Colombia, Venezuela and Russia, for the criminal offense "Prostitution". 

From the investigative actions, it was found that the citizen Beisi Yusmar Rojas Ruiz, originally from Colombia, used for prostitution the other arrested citizens, who had gone to Albania from different countries. 

They were accommodated in rented apartments, in different areas of Tirana, and through an internet site, they created contacts with different people, in order to practice prostitution for payment. 

Furthermore, 4 citizens were criminally prosecuted, who had rented out, without declaring to the tax authorities, their apartments, to the arrested citizens. 

Meanwhile, the passports of 7 arrested citizens were seized as material evidence.
