SP Appoints New Leaders in Three Districts

Steering Committee of Socialist Party (SP) has appointed new leaders in three districts for the local election campaign that is expected to be held next year.

The leadership of the Socialist Party at today's meeting has made the decision to change the leaders of Vlora, Shkodra and Kukës.

In Vlora, Arben Ahmetaj has left and Blendi Klosi will replace him. In Kukës, Safet Gjici leaves and Pandeli Majko will take over. While in Shkodër, Edona Bilali has left and will be replaced by Elisa Spiropali.

Prime Minister called these changes without weight for the citizens, but that they will be in function of the party, calling it a team, where each one has different roles.

"These are changes of an organizational nature that have no weight, they are not government organizations, it is not important to go into names, we are all servants of this mission, this is a team and like every team has different roles than if they were doing all the same, it wouldn't be a team", said Rama.

President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has started the procedure for decreeing the date of the next local elections, which are expected to be held in 2023.
