Supreme Court Rejects Balluku Appeal, Upholds Suspension from Office
The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal filed by former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, leaving in force the lower court's security measure suspending her from public office.
The ruling means Balluku will remain barred from exercising her official duties under the court-ordered suspension.
Judges also left unchanged a separate security measure prohibiting Balluku from leaving the country, which remains in effect.
The Supreme Court's decision upholds the previous rulings without altering the restrictions currently imposed on the former senior government official.
