Durres police clarified the theft that happened on January 6 in a store in neighborhood number 15, where the daily turnover was stolen under gun threat. 

This Sunday, the Police of the coastal city announced the arrest of two people. It is about citizens Orges Mona, 34 years old, resident in neighborhood no. 16, Durrës, previously convicted for criminal activity in the field of narcotics and Erlind Shehaj, 35 years old, resident in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, previously convicted of theft.The Blues also seized the vehicle and clothing used by these citizens during the theft.

From the investigation and the detailed examination of the footage from the security cameras, it has emerged that these two citizens, under the threat of the Kalashnikov firearm held by the citizen Erlind Shehaj, have received about ALL 15,000 (daily turnover), on Friday evening, in the store of citizen M. D.

As a result of the investigative actions, it became possible to clarify and document two previous thefts, committed by these two citizens, specifically:

– On 19.11.2022, in Arapaj, Durrës, these citizens allegedly stole a sum of money from the store of citizen E. S.;

– On 27.12.2022, in neighborhood no. 6, in Durrës, they allegedly stole valuables from the residence of citizen B. H.
