The lawyer from the USA, Joshua Roberts was not allowed this Tuesday to be present at the session on the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

The Special Court of Appeal refused him to follow the session as an observer.

A day ago he visited Veliaj in jail in Durres.

The judge Engert Pellumbi is expected to decide if the security measure 'Arrest in prison' is the right one for Veliaj or not.

The mayor of Tirana was arrested on corruption charges on February 10.
