Albania Supports Kosovo's Candidacy for 2030 Mediterranean Games

Albania will support Kosovo's candidacy for the organization of the 2030 Mediterranean Games and will facilitate the process of preparation and organization of sailing sports competitions on the Albanian coast. 

The Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi and the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo, Hajrulla Çeku signed the agreement that supports Kosovo's candidacy for the organization of the 2030 Mediterranean Games, where Albania commits to support Kosovo in facilitating the preparation process and organizing sailing sports competitions. 

In the meeting held between the two ministers responsible for sports in Albania and Kosovo, Minister Evis Kushi offered her counterpart maximum support, stating that Albania is determined to strengthen cooperation with Kosovo in every field and the initiatives undertaken between the two governments continue to be implemented successfully. 

Between the dependent institutions of the two ministries responsible for sports in Albania and Kosovo, the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH) and the Kosovo Olympic Committee, there will be a detailed coordination on the Albanian coast, for the process of preparation and organization for the development of sports of sailing, as part of the program of the Mediterranean Games, Pristina 2030, in accordance with the rules, standards, and requirements of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games and the relevant international sports organization.
