A jewelry store in the Kamza area became the target of an armed robbery on Saturday afternoon, raising concern among business owners and local residents.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 1:00 PM in Kamza, when two unidentified individuals, one of whom was allegedly carrying what appeared to be a firearm, entered a jewelry store owned by citizen O.L. and stole a quantity of jewelry.

Authorities said the suspected perpetrators were riding a motorcycle and wearing helmets in an apparent attempt to avoid identification by security cameras.

Police services immediately responded to the scene after receiving the alert, setting up checkpoints and conducting searches throughout the area.

Investigators are currently working to secure evidence that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects, while efforts continue to fully document the case.
