Belinda Balluku Hands Over Infrastructure Ministry to Enea Karakaçi
Former Infrastructure and Energy Minister Belinda Balluku has officially handed over her duties to the new minister, Enea Karakaçi.
During the handover ceremony, Balluku highlighted a number of achievements during her tenure, thanking the ministry’s staff and Prime Minister Edi Rama for their support and trust over the years.
She also praised Karakaçi, noting that he had been part of the ministry before she took office.
“With the support of the staff and the exceptional team this ministry has, I believe you will overcome this situation while I continue my journey, both politically and personally, to bring the truth to light,” Balluku said.
Balluku pointed to reforms in the energy sector, including the establishment of Albania’s first energy exchange, as well as investments in infrastructure such as highways, roads and tunnels built to European standards.
