According to the Italian media, the country's former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi is expected to be released from the San Raffaele hospital in Milan in the coming days. 

It is possible that he will return to his residence tomorrow or Thursday.

86-year-old Italian politician and businessman was hospitalized on April 5 due to a respiratory infection and a chronic form of leukemia.

According to medical reports so far, Berlusconi's health condition in recent weeks has shown a "slow but continuous improvement".
