Car Bombing in Tirana Linked to €15,000 Dispute, Police Reveal
New details have emerged regarding the explosive device placed on the car of Oltjon Klosi in Tirana. Sources confirmed for albaniandailynews.com that the incident is believed to be connected to a financial dispute between Klosi and Sabah Nuzi.
According to the sources, the two men had been in conflict for some time over a debt of around 15,000 euros.
Investigators say the debt originated abroad, in Spain, and police suspect the money was linked to drug-related dealings. Klosi reportedly claimed that he had already repaid the amount, while Nuzi maintained that the victim still owed him an additional €15,000.
After Klosi allegedly refused to pay the money, authorities believe that Nuzi ordered a group of individuals to place an explosive device on Klosi’s vehicle.
In connection with the case, police have arrested Jurgen Gjonaj, Renato Balla, Kristjan Ahmerama, Eklips Leti, Glentjan Kojtari, Dorjan Hamolli, and Geris Molla.
Authorities also identified Sabah Nuzi as the suspected organizer of the attack. He is currently serving time at IEVP Fushë Krujë Prison.
