Democratic Party Sets June 6 National Assembly, May 23 Leadership Vote

The Democratic Party of Albania held a meeting of its party headship Monday, where several key decisions were taken regarding the party’s internal organization and upcoming electoral processes within its structures.

According to the decisions made during the meeting, the party will convene its National Assembly on June 6, while a detailed calendar has also been approved for the internal elections, including the vote for the party’s leader.

The election process in the party’s local branches is expected to conclude by April 30. The vote to elect the chairperson of the Democratic Party will then take place on May 23.

The party also approved the formation of a working group tasked with reviewing the party statute. The group will be chaired by Gazment Bardhi and includes the following members:
