PM Holds Closed-Door Meeting in Vlorë Focused on Summer Tourism Preparations

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama started the week with a visit to the coastal city of Vlorë, where he held a closed-door meeting with several members of parliament from the region and representatives of the local municipality.

The meeting, which lasted around one hour, focused on the progress of ongoing projects in the city as well as preparations for the upcoming summer tourism season.

During the discussion, the prime minister urged local leaders to take preventive measures to avoid any issues that could affect the summer season. These include ensuring reliable water supply, improving the management of public spaces, upgrading local services, and maintaining high hospitality standards for tourists.

Rama emphasized that timely preparation of infrastructure and services is essential to handle the expected influx of visitors during the summer months in Vlorë and surrounding areas.

The prime minister also called for stronger coordination between the municipality and relevant ministries in order to accelerate the implementation of projects and ensure they are completed within the planned deadlines.
