Citizens Protest Outside SPAK Over Balluku Case
A group of citizens protested outside Albania’s Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK) on Friday, calling for action and institutional accountability over the case involving former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
The protesters gathered outside the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, holding signs and chanting messages directed at the authorities.
Among the slogans displayed during the demonstration was “Arrest Balluku,” along with calls for SPAK to take further action over allegations against the former deputy prime minister.
The case involving Balluku remains under investigation. Any potential criminal responsibility will ultimately be determined by the competent judicial authorities.
