Consular Services to Start for Albanians Living in Ireland, Canada

Albanian Embassy in London in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, will launch consular services for Albanians living in Ireland as of June 20, announced Saturday Prime Minister Edi Rama.

On social networks, the Head of Government also revealed that the Albanian Embassy in Canada will start services for biometric documents, passports and electronic IDs from June 27.

"Good news for Albanian citizens living in Ireland and Canada 

Starting from June 20, the Albanian Embassy in London in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, will launch consular services for Albanians living in Ireland 

Also, from June 27, the Albanian Embassy in Canada will start services for biometric documents, passports and electronic IDs"', underlined the Premier.

This news was also shared by Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka, who said that Albanian citizens living in Ireland and Canada will start receiving services for biometric documents, passports and electronic IDs at the Albanian Embassy in these countries.

Starting June 20, the Albanian Embassy in London, in cooperation with the Home Office and the Allied Company, will begin providing consular services to Albanians living in Ireland. 

Also, from June 27, for the first time the Albanian Embassy in Canada will start providing services for biometric documents, passports and electronic ID cards. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs aims to make the livelihood of Albanian citizens even easier through such projects, wherever they are abroad", wrote the minister on Facebook.
