DPSHTRR Gives Good News for Albanian Drivers

General Directorate of Road Transport Service (DPSHTRR) announced this Wednesday that there will be the elimination of tariffs and long waiting times for citizens and entities that register road vehicles for the first time.

Through a notification, DPSHTRR indicates that about 60.000 practices have been removed per year that required translations and notarization of the unit with the original from the documents in foreign languages, high payments and long hours.

Announcement of DPSHTRR

Another good news from DPSHTRR! We eliminate waiting time and especially excessive costs for citizens and entities that register road vehicles for the first time! We remove about 60 thousand movements per year that required translations and notarization of the unit with the original from the documents in foreign languages, high payments (about 4,500-6,000 ALL!), hours and hours of moving around the kiosks and games of realtors, at competing values and the cost of vehicle registration itself!

Upon the proposal of DPSHTRR, based on new operating and IT systems that guarantee real-time verification of vehicle data as well as respecting the vision of e-government and elimination of letters, bureaucracies and self-declaration and interaction between service structures, Instruction 1 was approved today, dt. 18.1.2022 by MEI authorizing the recognition by DPSHTRR of any document of origin in English and any technical document from the manufacturer or of the acquisition of ownership from EU countries or with the codes of the EC Directives! Translation and notarization will be required only for documents in Chinese, Arabic, Korean, etc., which constitute a minimum number of cases!
