EAP Gives Up Coalition with DP

The chairman of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party (EAP), Agron Duka has announced that his party will run alone in the upcoming local elections.

Duka has indicated that this party is open to cooperate with new movements, or new political forces that will debut in an election race.

Meanwhile, Duka called the political situation in the country an absolute and arrogant domination at the local level by the socialist majority, while regarding the opposition, he said that it is destabilized as a result of the internal conflicts.

"The Agrarian Environmentalist Party will enter the race for the local elections of 2023 outside the political coalitions. The leadership of this party decided that in these elections EAP will present its philosophy and identity, as a party with an agrarian and environmental focus.

The EAP is currently in a reorganization phase, and in the fall it will begin the process of selecting candidates for municipal councils. We are aware of the political situation in the country. An absolute and arrogant domination at the local level, by the socialist majority and a completely destabilized organizationally organizational opposition as a result of the internal conflict, make the political environment very unsuitable and uneasy for the voters. However, the EAP will continue to remain an opposition party, and with a program and platform entirely in the interest of the citizens.

EAP, in parallel with the reorganization of structures, is also reorganizing its program, remaining a party of the green spectrum, with clear objectives in environmental protection and regeneration, taking measures to adapt to climate change, concrete support of farmers, outside of subsidized propaganda schemes. We will project in our program not simply the support of survival or almsgiving, but the creation of mechanisms that modernize agriculture, increase production, quality standards and export production.

The EAP will be open to coordinating or collaborating with new movements, or new political forces that will debut in an electoral race, to bring together different opinions, new forces, innovative ideas and honest, idealistic people and patriots ", wrote Duka.
