Ex-FBI Special Agent, New NBI Advisor Arrives to Albania

New Advisor of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the former FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Steve Butler has arrived this Wednesday afternoon in Albania, the US Embassy to Tirana communicated.

Upon his arrival, Advisor Butler was received in a meeting by the US Ambassador to Albania, in order to talk about the continuing support of the essential work of Special Prosecution against Organized Crime and Corruption (SPAK) to investigate and prosecute corruption and organized crime.

In the meantime, the cross-examination and prosecution of corruption and organized crime will be made via training, capacity-building, equipment and advisory expertise, the Embassy added.

Ambassador Kim met with Steve to welcome him to the team and to discuss our continuing support of the essential work of SPAK to investigate and prosecute corruption and organized crime through training, capacity-building, equipment, and advisory expertise”, announced the Embassy.
