An accident occurred this afternoon in the northern city of Shkodër, resulting in the loss of a human life and several injuries.

According to initial reports, the crash took place at approximately 4:25 PM along the “Shkodër–Koplik” road, in the village of Grizhë. A vehicle driven by citizen A.M. collided with a second vehicle operated by V.X., and subsequently struck a third vehicle driven by E.Gj.

As a result of the accident, passenger Z.M., who was traveling in the first vehicle, lost his life while receiving treatment at the Regional Hospital of Shkodër.

Two of the drivers involved, along with a passenger identified as Gj.M., sustained minor injuries. They are currently receiving medical care at the same hospital and are reported to be out of life-threatening danger.

An investigative team, working under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is continuing efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
