Former Mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro was released this Friday from prison.

He was condemned with two years in jail, reduced to 1 year and four month.

The decision for him was given by the court months ago, while he was under arrest since last March.

Goro was accused for abuse of duty in Himara municipality.

He was investigated after being denounced by Fredi Beleri who pretended that in 2016, Goro alienated an area of ??4,263 m² of land, passing it on to Arqile Bollanos, appointed as successor to the head of the Himara Municipality.
