Late police officer Artan Cuku was given this Sunday the title "Honorary Citizen" of Kamez. 

From today, the Palace of Culture of the Municipality of Kamza will bear the honorable name of the martyr Artan Cuku. During his speech, the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, said that there should be no more officers killed. 

"We should no longer have the police officers killed. The police are there to ensure order and security. The martyrs of the Homeland are the most conscious part of the country", said Manja. 

Artan Cuku, the former director of the Vlora Police, was killed at the age of 42, on April 8, 2017, at the entrance of his palace on Kosovars Street in Tirana. The killer arrested for this murder is Mikel Shallari, who after the arrest accepted to become a pendant of justice. He was sentenced to ten years in prison. The person who ordered this murder is Bledar Jambelli, meanwhile, the person who contracted Shallari to do the murder is Kristaq Leci. Both Leci and Jambelli have been arrested in Greece.
