Eight Albanian police officers in Kosovo have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in several criminal offenses. 

They are accused of abusing their office, using violence in the line of duty and selling drugs. Operation "flash" was conducted this Friday by the Kosovo Police and the Basic Prosecution of Pristina. 

“In today's action conducted in close cooperation with the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (PIK) in the early hours of the morning, eight (8) persons were arrested, police officers who are suspected of criminal offenses; "Abuse of official position or authority", according to Article 414 of the CCRK, s "Ill-treatment in the exercise of public duty or authority", Article 195 "," Exercise of influence ", Article 424, and" Purchase, possession, distribution and sale " unauthorized narcotic substance ”according to article 267. 

The arrested persons are with initials; D.M, M.G, V.F, V.B, V.SH, R.S, B.J and M.K. Today's action was realized thanks to the cooperation of citizens with the State Prosecutor and PIK", it is said in the announcement.
