Firefighters have been tackling a fire that started overnight at a market in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv after it was hit by Russian missiles and drones - it has since been extinguished, emergency services say.

Air-raid sirens have sounded five times since Saturday night in Kyiv. At least six people, including a child, were reportedly injured in the capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko says.

Ukraine's army says it has struck a missile fuel production facility in Russia.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says in a post on Telegram that it hit the Kamensky Plant in the Rostov region of western Russia.

He describes it as "an important enemy military-industrial facility" that is "directly used to meet the needs of the Russian armed forces".

Russian officials have yet to comment on the attack.

Earlier, it said Ukraine had struck multiple "high-value military targets" in Saturday night.
