Social Sec Agreement with Poland Signed
Albania welcomes the signing by the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, of the Social Security Agreement between the two countries.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs assessed this as an important step that guarantees Albanian citizens the recognition of work periods and the transfer of their social contributions in Poland as well.
This agreement follows similar agreements that Albania has concluded with countries such as Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Canada and others.
According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the agreement guarantees more rights and opportunities for Albanian citizens living abroad.
Recent signatures and ratification stages include agreements with Slovenia, Montenegro, Romania, and Bulgaria (with ongoing negotiations with Greece).
