Lapaj Holds Second Protest Outside Prime Minister’s Office, Vows Continued Resistance

Adriatik Lapaj, leader of the movement “Shqipëria Bëhet” (Albania Is Made), organized a second protest on Friday outside the Prime Minister’s Office, where dozens of citizens gathered in support of his campaign.

Among the protesters were several well-known public figures, including actor Genti Kame and environmental activist Sazan Guri.

During the demonstration, members of “Shqipëria Bëhet” were seen setting up a tent in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, signaling the continuation of Lapaj’s protest action, which has now entered its 28th day.

Addressing supporters, Lapaj accused the government of perpetuating an oligarchic system, saying it had failed to dismantle what he described as entrenched corruption. He called for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, whom he labeled “the most corrupt man in Europe.”

“Did the people give him 83 mandates so he could steal?” Lapaj said. “Those mandates have zero value because the people know the truth—that they are stealing from us. You here are free people. Albanians deserve to live with dignity.”
