A convicted murderer died this Sunday in the prison hospital, as announced by the General Directorate of Prisons. 

Based on the released information, inmate Adem Tale from Kukës passed away as a result of cardio-respiratory arrest. 

The 80-year-old was hospitalized on June 6 and he was sentenced to 35 years for murder. 

"Today, on 18.06.2023, in the Prison Hospital at 09:10 as a result of cardio-respiratory arrest, the convict Adem Tale, born in 1943, born and resident in Kukës, passed away in the Intensive Care Unit of the Prison Hospital Center! 

The deceased came from IEVP Durrës and was admitted to the Prison Hospital Center on 06.06.2023. He was sentenced to 35 years for murder. 

The General Directorate of Prisons immediately notified the Prosecutor's Office, SHKBB, judicial police officers at Police Station No. 4 Tirana for the performance of procedural actions.
